My recent stay at Driftwood Resort On the Ocean was a serene experience where the desert meets the beach. the property, with its private cottages, provided enough space to stretch out and relax. the quiet, family-friendly atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. the location was ideal, with easy access to the scenic East End of Long Island and its best dining and shopping spots. the studios and suites were well-appointed, featuring private terraces for a leisurely retreat. Despite the rainy weather, the heated pool remained open for a refreshing swim when the sun peeked through. It was a peaceful weekend with very few people around, offering a truly uncrowded stretch of sand. the amenities, including tennis courts and a playground, catered to both relaxation and recreation. the picturesque grounds and panoramic ocean vistas added to the charm of the resort. I especially enjoyed the proximity to Montauk Highway, where a few noteworthy restaurants offered delicious dining options. the well-maintained grounds, with barbecue grills and picnic tables, provided the perfect setting for outdoor gatherings. the property's easy reach from New York City made it a convenient escape for a rejuvenating break.
